Hi Gents,

Just bought a 53 plate Espace.
The car turns over nice but won't catch.
Pumped the diesel bulb, cracked the injectors but would not start. I then checked the glow plugs and found the all completely knackered.
Anything else to look for?

Hi again,

Had the aa look at the car and they could not fix it. Said there was an issue that has resulted in the loss of the 12v and 5v control voltages. They could also not connect to the ecu via their laptop.

Get the manual on disc from Ebay. Try to find someone with a CLIP to see if Renault code faults can be read.
Could be many things from bad earths, faulty connections or fusebox, Worn or faulty loom sections, water ingress. You can do lots of checks from the data on disc manual.
