Malcom, have you not a generic part no. to cross over to other models? Thinking stuff like VM Diesels and old Land Rovers ,that kind of thing.

i wouldnt know were or how to get a generic part No. lexi,

but i have just6 been on the blower to the owner of the Trafic,

it is a 1993 T1100 D 2068cc/=2.1

The 2.1d is the J engine. It has Roto Diesel pump. I would search in that direction, as a part may be available from Lucas? OR commercial truck/tractor type places.

i will try a gooogly search on that,

i do already know the wax stat is kaput as the outer dose not alter in length from cold to hot engine, at the mo the cable is disconnected from the pump
