Renault 5 GTS starting problems
I'm having trouble starting this one whenever there is moisture in the air, either rain or even dew. I've changed the plugs and points which both looked corroded but still no joy. Starts fine when it is dry.[V]
Ever tried the rubber glove trick over the plug leads?
Take an ordinary (not the disposable type) rubber glove, slit the finger tips & feed the plug & coil leads through each of the finger holes.
Tighten them onto the leads & distributor and see what happens.
This was an old trick with Minis years ago that suffered from the same problem.
Mighten look all the best but it's effective for keeping moisture out of dissy cap and is a great conversation piece as a bonus.[:D][;)]
