I have a rhd R1225 R5 1980 original test car sent to Australia for evaluation but never sold here. I hope to restore it as it was stored in a shed for 12 years and only has 37,000 miles on the clock. The parts I require at the moment are water pump (more than one type fitted to R5s,the little bits which are at the end of the gear selector leverat the gearbox and the rear brake limiting valve (there are a few types). Thus my problem how can I identify which part I need without being able to identify from a spare parts manual. I am a member of the Renault Car Club of Auatralia and ex member of the UK Renault Owners Club. In my household we have a Fuego,R10 with about 80 odd bhp at the rear wheels,a R5GT Turbo with about 180 bhp and a new Clio II Sports Limited Edition No.23 of 85 sent to Australia for the release of Renault back into Australia. Can anyone help me identify the bits I require.
