Megane misting problem

My friend has a 1998 Megane RT and the windscreen is always misted up. The heater fan, even on full blast, won't clear it and when she wipes the screen, it just mists up again.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Please help!

This could be caused by having the airflow set to recirculate i.e. there is no incoming (fresh) air. Give this a try.
