No, I didn't disconnect the battery.
I checked the fuse on the back of the unit and the one in position F8 in the glove box. Any others that are likely candidates or should I just check them all? Nothing else seems to have failed.
The head unit has spent the day being bench checked, I don't have a Lexia anyway. It has now gone away for a more thorough investigation.

And thanks for the ebay link, have you dealt with this seller before? Not that it matters, I ordered one from him already figuring I can sell it on for no/minimal loss if I don't need it. And yes, I checked the Citroen price.
