Cd changer for 406

Hi fellas!
I would like to know if a PU2145B CD changer is compatible with a clariuon PU1646A head unit(a.k.a. RM2 radio) or if the protocol is different.
In Peugeot, they want some 350 quid for a 406 cd changer... what cd changers are compatible with my radio?

BTW, what part is inside a plastic bag on the left side of engine bay, kinda under the brake master cylinder on the V6? It that the bag is open and i can't close it...
