Hi
Where did you get this new keypad from?
The imobiliser 4 digit code is stored in both the keypad & the ecu, If you plug a different keypad or ecu petrol / Stop control relay on diesels into the car the imobiliser will have a sulk & both lights should come on.
Its a trip to a Peugeot dealer or somebody else will the right equipment to get this unlocked im afraid.
You could try this link, Ive never used them myself but its worth asking: http://www.unimark.freeserve.co.uk/index.htm

i dont think the code is stored in the keypad at all, i've changed a few of them and the code has worked fine after.
i've also made a bodge on a dispatch were i took one of the feed wires straight to the stop solonoid, if your fuel pump has a plastic case on the end it can be done with patience, a screwdriver and a hammer. but i doubt you would want that done.
make sure the keypad is exactly the same as some have different letters, not sure if that makes a differnce tho

no,the code is only stored in the small ECU on the injection pump,if you fit the keypad from a different onto it the code will remain the same.like the worker says check that all the numbers/letters on the keypad are the same, failing that take a good look at the black 9 pin relay next to the radiator at the o/s,check its wiring where it goes into the plug.

Hi
The early keypads with the "D/N" button are NOT Thatcham cat 2 & will only lock out for a minute if 3 wrong codes are used.
The later keypads with the "S" button, The one that will be fitted to this 106 ARE Thatcham cat 2 & will lock out for 30 minutes if 3 wrong codes are used.
The Peugeot dealer that sold you this keypad should of told you how to set it up correctly when you bought it.

there should be no need to set anything up,it should just be a matter of pluging the new one in,the code will be the same one the car always had.
key pad ECU loosing its memory i'd say is unlikely unless you connected a set of jump leads to it the wrong way around ? did you have a look at that relay & connector ?

if you have the plastic cover at the end of the pump, it can be broken off to reveal the solonoid. check on the square black plug one wire should be live with ignition on and no live with ignition off.
put a wire from this to the solonoid and you dont need to have the keypad or loads of cable from the battery.
however, if you have the metal plate around the injector pipes the pump has to come off and given to a specialist.
