Hi fellas! [:D]
Boy, it's been a while...
Ok, here's the deal:
My 406 is making a deaf kind of noise coming from the rear suspension, or around the rear of the car.
I went to Pug, still on warranty (they changed the rear shocks around 3000kms ago) who said that the problme was solved, just the linking rod to the stab bar...
Still (of course!) the problme persists, and i looked today at it a thought to have find the culprit: the rubber stops, when hitting the shocks perpendicularly to the shock piston cranck, make that kind of sound. Great, i just zip tyed them around the shock base. But to no avail... the shocks are well tightened, and i also removed the spare tyre (could be... [:(])
This noise comes when ridding on "normal" road, with a regular surface, not appearing in rough roads; sometimes it is also hear on axle crossing situations.
Any help would be extremely appreciated [:)]
PS: i have replaced the front spheres on the C5 with the original ones, as it gets a bit of oversteer with rain... Yep, autumn has arrived!
Cheers!
406 noise - help!
