track rod

Hi I have a slight movement in the left side front wheel, its only side to side not up and down. I have replaced the driveshaft and the hub assembley however it is still there. Having had a bloody good look the ball joints for the hub are sound as is the wishbone mounts but the track rod seems to move with the hub movement. This has lead me to conclude the other end of the track rod has gone that connects to the steering rack, Does anyone know how hard this is to replace and the best place to get them? GSF doesnt seem to list them.
Its a 95 306d with PAS.

I guess only a complete rack is available off the shelf; you may be able to get it rebuilt cheaper by taking the rack (off the car

) to a steering rack reconditioner.
