206 seats in a 205?

I'm guessing the answer is no but will 206 seats fit into a 205?

but I have to ask - why bother?
205 seats are quite comfy, especially if you get the sports trim - surely these will be much much cheaper at the scrappy than 206 seats?

I hear what you say - just that I need some seats that are more supportive than the cr*p standard ones in my diesel. There are a couple of 206 seats for sale on Ebay and they are a lot better than what I have. Just a thought. There are also some 205 seats about as well so I'll probably go for them BUT if anyone does know for sure please let me know ...

I'd have thought a set of GTi half leathers would have done the job wonderfully, but there is the price factor of being GTi bits...
