I wish to upgrade my existing 6Jx15 ET18 rims to a 16" set to accomodate 205/55x16 tyres. I have been told I may need spacers adapters to clear the rims of the brake calipers, if the offset of the new rims exceed 18mm. However, there is some space clearance between the existing rims (at et 18) and the calipers...thus, the offset may be greater than 18mm.
Anyone has any idea what is the offset I can use for new 16" rims?
Cheers

Cant tell you the offset but from previous experience if you call someone like Demon Tweaks http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/ they can tell you what you will need in the way of spacers...the last time I bought alloys from them they supplied the correct spacers for my car free.
