parked the car up on sat night all fine,
started fine, drove fine for bout 2-3 miles then i noticed temp guage in the red, i switched off and let it cooldown,re started and checked thing to find rad cold, fitted new stat, and testd again(still the same)
removed top and bottom hose from rad and flushe dit out, removed hoses from matrix and did the same, re filled cooling system and bled my balls off, all seemed ok for 10 mins or so,heater worked, rad got warm on both sides, then started to heat again, undid bleed screw on nearside of car and loads of air escaped, water level went down. filled up again but engine got hot ,heater stayed cold, and pressurised the water system again, undid bleed screw on heateer matrix and no water came out till i revved it up a bit, then i undid n/s bleed screw again and it atarted steaming quite a bit!!
r they realy this hard to bleed or is this looking like my head gasket thats failed
any feedback is much appreciated
