Peugeot 405 mystery switch

Post by 405chap101 »

]Hi, there's a switch in my 405 that seems to do precisely nothing at all and I have no idea what it's supposed to do. Can anyone help me out in finding out what is is? A picture of the symbol it has on it should be attached below.

I'm new to the forum so sorry if the attachment isn't working or I've posted this in the wrong place.

Hello and welcome.
Your photo isn't showing.

You may be able to edit it in - hit the "Edit" button (Second from the left, a 'pencil' icon) and at the foot of the text box click the "Attachments" tab - there you can either drag and drop your image or search for it using the "Add Files" button.
If it is too late to edit (there is a time limit) put it in a new post - use the "New Post" button rather than the quick post box.

I have edited the original post, is it working now?

I thought I'd already answered this - and realised that I had - but the post and the original question was probably one of those that was lost when we had the recent outage.

To answer your question it is the switch that isolates the rear electric windows to prevent them from being opened by the rear passengers:

Ah, I see, thanks very much.

And yes, you probably did answer this question before but the thread got deleted and I've had to re-post it now (I had no idea that was because of an outage, thanks for the info)
