Surely the head gasket cant have gone on my sisters 206 after only 37k miles? Open oil filler cap and it is pure cream cheese and dip stick is glazed with dark orange substance.

Is the car used for just short journeys if so it might just be a build up of condensation in the engine due to the fact that the engine doesnt get hot enought to steam the water off. Otherwise it sounds like the headgasket, check the coolant for signs of oil. If its the tu engine they reknown for popping the headgasket between the main oil way and the water jacket. Also check for oil down the block at the front nearest the cambelt.
