Could someone clarify me that my 306 fuel cap at the bottom there is hole for when accidental overflow it drain down but my was just hole no rubber nipple or a tube I can see top of my tyre from that hole.
Other day when I overflow the fuel running down the inner side arch and drip on top of tyre it quite a dangerous to drive risk oversteering, I don't think this is normal?
I ask Peugeot dealer for a picture of 306 fuel cap the picture it did not show any tube or rubber nipple. I do not know if any other 306 hatchback , sedan and cabriolet have them?

Re: Fuel cap overflow
IIRC your VIN ends in 4296? If so, then there are 2 parts to the system, they should of supplied you with the second diagram too.

Now in Diagram 'B', your vehcile does NOT have part '3', from September 2000, this was not fitted to your model. It is actually called a 'Tank Degassing Pipe'.
