I had the ac on today, when I tried to push the button off it would not shut down. The light was on. After a few tries, and shutting down the engine, It finally shut off. But now when I push the button it just does not turn on. No yellow light. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

It could just be that the internal mechanism in the switch has jammed.

Not familar with 405 heater control panels. Does it look like this?
Does the switch push and click in, or is it just a push and bounce back button? If the latter, it's probably a microswitch or possible a PCB contact pad type switch.
PCB contact pad type switches suffer from wear, or just general dirt build up over the years. Taking them apart and cleaning with acetone/IPA should sort.
For a microswitch, would probably be best to replace it.
Either way, looks like you need to get the heater panel out and take it apart to see what's going on inside.

No it doesn't look like that?
I think you need to answer the second question (what type of switch operation it is) and post a pic of the panel, so we can narrow down possible cause further... Failing which, follow my suggestion and just take it apart yourself anyway, to see what you can find.
