407 fault codes

Post by daviemck2006 »

Had a go with the lexia on bigpug. Big list of codes!
P1351 pre/post heating relay circuit A
P0087 fuel pressure regulation
P010F airflow meter signals
P0104 flowmeter sognal 1 (rear)
ABS under voltage
C1187 power steering under voltage
U2003 main wake up
P0562 under voltage
B1107 ECU supply voltage too high fault (ignition positive)
Drivers seat memorising unit faulty
All codes cleared and the car needed a jump start off Gabby. Had a 20 mile run in her, she wasn’t running perfectly, a bit of hesitation on acceleration. When I floored it to get lockdown and max revs the EML came on again and into limp home mode. Once home put the lexia on again.
P1351 pre/post heating relay circuit A
P010F Airflow meter signals
P1165 Fuel pressure sensor
All the random voltage ones stayed off. I’m thinking I need an airflow meter and a fuel pressure sensor, and I do t know about the pre/post heating relay circuit. Would that mean the relay for the glow plugs? Any knowledgeable help appreciated!

Nearly every PSA HDi I've had a lexia on gives the P1351. Always ignored it! Try clearing the others again and making sure the battery has plenty of charge in it.

I’ll swap the battery with Gabby, that will also do a bsi reset and gabbys battery is near new then give her a run again to see what happens. If it needs an airflow meter and/or a sensor it’s not the end of the world.

FYI, you have to select and read each code to delete it Davie

I discovered that Alasdair. I spent quite a while today sitting in the car going through everything on the Lexia. It’s the first time I have used it so I thought I would go through everything on the menu. The only way to find out about it, especially for me who is not good with electronics and computers is to sit for hours and play with it lol

Make that "most of us".
The number of times I've had to work out how to do something more than once in Lexia is .. a lot. It's actually easier in Diagbox if it supports your car. The terminology is less confusing.

I'm pretty sure in Diagbox you can erase all the codes (in one ECU at least) in one go...can't necessarily remember how though!

Davie - you need to get the info behind those codes. If you are using Diagbox (which you should!) then if you highlight the code and press enter it will give a whole load more info. For the MAF code for instance, it may be 'incoherent reading' - it should give you some idea what the readings are, and what are expected. Likewise the fuel pressure code - what does it say the reading is vs the reference fuel pressure? You could also get some live data on these - if you click on parameter readings then you can get to see live data. There is a way of graphing this, so you can go for a drive and record the data to see what it is doing.
