Diesel injectors

Post by PUGEXPERTS »

Hi all, I'm interested in finding out if a spare set of injectors i have would fit in my van.
Not that i have a problem at the moment, but your never know,
I have a 2007 Peugeot Expert 2.0L RHK 110 hp, I think,
Siemens Injector number 9659337980
The other set is out of a 407 RHR 120hp engine Siemens Injector 9647247280.

I've tried local parts but they don't know.

Thanks Jeff

Hi, You can use your spare set of injectors in your RHR engine, but you will have to use the diagnostic program to check and trim the new injector flow rates in the ECU.
The Siemens piezo injectors are classified by nozzle flow rate ( to cater for production tolerances etc ) and generally types cannot be mixed in service, although there are from memory a couple of exceptions.
The 9659337980 is from memory a class 4 nozzle and the 9647247280 a class 5
You are fortunate to have spares as a set, take good care of them with proper caps etc as with these particularly, particle ingress is death.
Hope the foregoing helps a little.
