peugeot 307 1.6 hdi 110 Injector flow correction Issue in pp2000

Post by davlight971 »

Hi,
Hope you can help me understand how to understand injector flow correction reading from PP2000.

the car is a peugeot 307 1.6hdi 110

reading idle as follow:

injec1: 1.63mg
injec2: -5.53mg
injec3: 0.03mg
injec4: 0.17mg

I have concern for number 1 and surely 2.

Yes idle is not as smoth as it should.

I did removed them to change all seals,
Car is 75k mileage.
I did kind of clean them myself to removed carbon.
I might have damaged them doing that...
Is there anyway i could help rectify it myself or i have to get them done professionally?

I found a set for 150 on ebay might buy that dont know yet.

So u do think -5mg is way not normal.
The -5mg does it mean injector block?

I think... that the ecu is having to correct two injectors for over or under fuelling .. maybe one is leaky and one is blocked.. it's a bit simplistic but that's my guess .. I have had injector issues before.. first time i had a large correction on one.. the car kept shutting down at high load. it plagued me for a year and was dangerous. finally I changed the injector with the biggest correction and the car was perfect ..

second time I bought the boxer hdi and couldn't measure the injectors via ecu.. (don't know why) bit did an old fashioned leak off test and two were ..well.. leaking off .. the van stopped at over 10% throttle..changing these 2 injectors fixed that..

that is about the limit of my knowledge of them really .. if you are not experiencing engine shut down then . not sure what to suggest.. for £80? you can send all four away for testing . they may say 2 are knacked.. I know little about the 1.6 ..
