205 Turbo Diesel Prices

Post by xsaras4ever »

Cripes - the price of the 205 td has really climbed a lot here in France in the last 12 months.

We wanted to but one and put a 1.9td into it .

Could get one last year for 500-600 euros. Looking at 1500euros plus now.....

We have been thinking that a 3 door TD is a nice economical alternative to a GTi. Not the same power admittedly , but can be made to look like a Gti and have some respectable power.

There are still thousands of 205s knocking about here in France - we see several every day (not the TD though) - but they are starting to enter into the realm of collectable over here.

And I used to have a 205STDT too... Fantastic car ;) Let it go for £130...

All 205 prices are going through the roof now...

I also used to to have a 1.6 205GTi... One of only two cars I ever regret parting with... A 205 GTi in good, unmolested condition, as mine was, are now worth very serious money.

I still say the 205 is the best small car ever made...
