Quick Question 1996 306 pollen filter??

Post by mgoodlad »

I have a 1996 P reg 306 TD, last of the old shape - owners manual/maintenance schedule tells me every now and again to change the pollen filter - cannot find mention of this in the Haynes manual and have never found one in the car - do I have one? Perhaps it is in air con models which I do not have? There is a cover at the base of the windscreen covering the wipers etc which perhaps it could be under but I have never tried to take this off.
Regards
Michael

No 306 ever had a pollen filter, not even the ones with air-con. If you look at the service schedule, it covers lots of models, not just the 306. I know the later 405's had pollen filters, perhaps it refers to this.

Peugeot 306 has no pollen filter although it is possible to cover the plastic mesh covering with a generic filter such as those used for office air cons. The cover is under the bonnet passenger side.
