807 gearbox

807 gearbox
Ok folks got a s**t of a problem with my 807 2.0hdi had the dreaded solenoid problem AL4 gearbox, Slow to pick up the gears when driving it would change from 1st to 2nd and no drive just rev for a couple of seconds then pick up the drive. So changed the solenoids new oil to now i have 3 major problems ist is when i plug in the Peugeot diagnostics it wont read the gearbox ecu saying no com's to gearbox 2nd& 3nd is a fault coming up on the dash saying Speed control system faulty & ESP/ASR system faulty and they where not there before the solenoid change attached 3 pic's i hope

Hello Alan,
Not sure if its applicable to yours but was the software updated after the solenoids were changed? I wasn't brave enough to tackle the gearbox dismantle so not sure of the wiring routing inside the gear box. is the control box on top of the gear box still aligned as I understand that the "fingers" that select the gears can be misaligned. Are all the other leads in proximity to the gearbox securely connected?
Had the same gearbox in a Citroen Xantia 1.9td was beautiful until i got snow and sports lights flashing together! didn't get around to swapping the solenoids as it spent more time in limp home mode. Apart from which if I had swapped them for new ones, I told that only the dealer could put the software on or a gearbox specialist.
Only know about the "black box" gear selector as mine had one installed before I purchased the car.
