Looking for help with a pug 2.0 16 valve hdi

The car starts fine but when you go to rev it up just around 1000rpm it appears to start missing and sound really rough running starts to improve around 3000 rpm there is no smoke from the exhaust
no management lights on
N0 fault codes
I have just changed the injectors (simens system)
With 4 new ones cannot belive the price £875
The fault was still the same

When the first HDi's appeared, the injectors were a lot more money than that from what I recall.
No codes (you used Planet/Diagbox for this or something else?) I'd half suggest perhaps the MAF sensor is acting up.
You can unplug this (engine / ignition off!) then start it up and try it with it unplugged. Note there will be a potential loss of performance anyway however you're looking really to see if its 'better' without it connected.
After that I'd consider checking the air inlet pipework, especially between air filter box and turbo. A collapsed pipe (remember its under suction so it might "suck in" if its weak) can cause some very odd faults.
