308 Lack of Power

I've had a look at a chaps 308 (09 plate) 1.4 petrol on Diagbox this aft, the symptoms were lack of power through the lower gears.

Diagbox threw up the following codes;

P2178 - MIXTURE REGULATION FAULT
P0170 - MIXTURE REGULATION FAULT
P11AA - FAULT INTAKE MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR SIGNAL
P0325 - FAULT PINKING SENSOR SIGNAL
F5FF - UNEXPECTED REINITIALISATION COMING FAULT FROM BSI

The P0325 fault code is a permanent fault, whereas the others are temporary.

Is the faulty pinking sensor a common problem, and would the mixture regulation issues be cause or consequence of the pinking?

Cant say I've ever heard of a knock sensor failing on any PSA engine. Have you checked that's its properly plugged in & has a good connection ?

Everything seemed soundly connected and secure, the engine bay was immaculate.

The chap reported the physical feeling of the engine pinking, so I'm fairly sure that there is the issue of the knock within the engine, in addition to the possible sensor malfunction.
