308 1.6 hdi turbo to dpf clamp part number

Post by veralum »

i have soot around the turbo coming from behind the heat shield, investigations lead me to believe the clamp is not fitting properly and there is a modified/updated clamp available, any one know he part number?

I think the revised clamp is for the EGR valve to the cooler - the turbo/ DPF clamp is just a standard (well for PSA) spring type affair. It is easy to misalign the DPF / turbo when refitting the clamp - happened to me when I did the turbo filter on my 307 - and the C4 Picasso with the same engine had to go back to the garage after the clutch change as they too got it wrong. Make sure you lift the DPF up and fully engage it on the turbo before fitting the clamp. Getting to the clamp is a mare since you need to remove (or at least release) the DPF heat shield - garage managed on the C4 without removing the rad, but I don't know how - I couldn't do it without first removing the rad.
