Hello french car forum members,
Please would someone help me.
I recently swapped the drivers seat in my 2002 Peugeot 307 for one out of the scrapyard as the foam had failed on the base.
On getting the seat back i fitted said seat before then noticing the wiring plugs are different.
Mine (2002 model) consist of a blue plug with the air bag wiring orange wire and yellow wire 1 earth plug and the seatbelt white plug. 2004 donor car consist of a green plug with 3 wires but could i ask if its a straightforward case of connecting the orange wire of the newer seat to orange wire of my loom and yellow wire of newer seat to yellow wire of my current loom?

Re: Peugeot 307 seat airbag wiring enquiry
You might have trouble with this.... 2004 is probably a Mk2 which is VAN multiplex, whereas a 2002 is CAN multiplex. I suspect that if you try to connect it, something will get upset and / or fried. Sorry.... think you need to look for a seat out of a Mk1 car.

Re: Peugeot 307 seat airbag wiring enquiry
thank you for the replies, how difficult to dismantle the seat backing in order to get to the seat air bag?
Is there a guide available to show how its done? Dont want to destroy the newer sponge trying to get to the old one!!

Re: Peugeot 307 seat airbag wiring enquiry
Just some clips at the base of the back and a press on strip for the C5....the AirBag is not part of the squab base
You have an old one to experiment with
