Hi Guys
I have 08 Plate Partner Van with 80k which has the engine light on & produces codes on obdII
(stored)
P1461 Not Defined
P0093 Fuel System Large leak
P1351 Not Defined
(pending)
P0093 Fuel System Large leak
P1351 Not Defined
I'm planning to do the glow plugs + fuel filter
Van is "lumpy" from cold, but drives fine...
Top of engine around No. 1 is a bit oily,
Any hints or tips...
Also I've a Lexia which I've never manged to get working fully, reads vehicle type but doesn't connect fully, would FCF be the place for help ?

Re: Partner MIL
The P1461 fault code is "A/C pressure sensor circuit Voltage Low". On models with a Siemens fuel system, it's also "EGR valve. Learning".
P0093 - Fuel System Leak Detected - Large Leak
P1351 - IDM input circuit Malfunction/Ignition coil control circuit High voltage (Siemens system - Pre/Post heating relay circuit. Relay not controlled and glow plugs supplied).
You'd have to check what fuel system your vehicle uses - it's either Bosch or Siemens.
What issues are you having with your diagnostics set up?

Re: Partner MIL
This is a HDi unit not the DW8 yes ? I think it will be a HDi (either 2.0 or 1.4 possibly) as I think they might of stopped using the DW8 in these about 2007. Could be wrong...
Andy.

Re: Partner MIL
FCF probably could help re the Lexia, as there are members who are willing to do a Lexia session (usually for a few beer tokens, but not as many as a Dealership would ask!);

IIRC 1.6 hdi is the only diesel engine choice 75 or 90 bhp (in the van)spider wrote:This is a HDi unit not the DW8 yes ? I think it will be a HDi (either 2.0 or 1.4 possibly) as I think they might of stopped using the DW8 in these about 2007. Could be wrong...
Anyway after work I had quick look under the bonnet,
got a rag & had a wipe around, there's not much oil but looks to be worse nr the torx bolt which secures no 1 injector
anyway injector bolt on no1 is quite loose & no3 a bit loose ?
unlike yesterday I was able to clear fault its been turned off & restarted a couple of times & done a 8ml run home & has remained off.
However time will tell if the MIL remains off
