they think it could be the pump that is not pumping the additive to the fuel

I would (before doing any more 'repairs') suggest getting a Lexia onto you car. That way it could reset the counter, and also look for any faults. Here is the link to Lexia owners;

1 hour charge and a Lexia charge £80 maybe ?

Hunt down a member with a Lexia and let them have a beer or two >?

Henstridge Somerset.

Has anyone had there dpf removed? And is it a route worth going down or not?

You are about 25 miles from me then !......pop up tomorrow ? (It will be chucking it down however but you only need to sit in the car with the laptop).....I am not very skilled but if you can get instructions from here first you are welcome to plug my kit into the car and try.

DPF removal is a MoT fail and will throw faults with out modifications and a remap
