Hi everyone,
ABS warning light on, ABS fault displayed and diagnostic check showed near side rear sensor problem. Simple fix you might think - wrong !! I have had the sensor changed, visually inspected and cleaned the ABS ring, checked the wiring continuity, resistance and voltage at pins 8 & 9. All reads and appears normal but still the fault persists and diagnostic displays 0 mph from N/S/R- any pearls of wisdom out there please?

Re: 406 ABS Problem
Try the other side.... if it is reporting 'passenger side' then that is often the passenger side when thinking about a LHD car!!

Re: 406 ABS Problem
An interesting idea RichardW thank you. I shall visually inspect and clean the other rear ABS ring then run this one past the "Peugeot Specialist" who changed the sensor and performed the diagnostic reads. All the best, John.
