Hazards on heavy braking

Post by donk »

hi everyone, I have just recently got a 2005 307 1.6 hdi 110. My question is, can I stop the hazards flashing under heavy braking?

They should only operate when the "Brake Assist" kicks in.

I tend to drive a tad enthusiastic some times, (my other Peugeot is a 205 1.9 gti) the hazards are a trifle annoying haha.

Maybe your brakes need looking at first? I have to really stand on my brakes to "test" the hazards do come on automatically. You can of course cancel them manually immediately after activation if the few times they repeat really is annoying as you claim.

Yes, they can be disabled with Planet. I wouldn't though.

I can understand the enthusiastic braking in a pug 205 gti. [emoji48] Ours is still not back on the road yet [emoji49]
