As title - been offered one on a 51 plate.


anything to look for? its been stood for a while (its also quite cheap) - battery is flat and maybe alternator issue? photo of car it looks straight and flat is tyres where its been stood for a year or so

Don't know much about them but I think they are a nice luxobarge. I have had a fancy for one occasionally. Proper French looking thing.
Would be a nice relaxing drive too.

seems it doesnt actually start? turns over with a battery but no go?

thinking about offering scrap money - or will it just be a money pit?

It would depend on year,mileage,condition, service history etc etc.
They are buggers with the electrics and other niggles but then no different than any other old car.
One of the best cars I've had , more for cruising than town.

Nice car but it would have to be cheap. The fuel consumption of the 2.2 is not good at the best of times - but with an auto box .. :shock:

its been offered at £200 - but currently no mot and doesn't start :(
