I thought the XUD's (certainly the earlier ones say up to about 1998) just had a solid simple pulley as on the 205 its only driving the alternator. :)

I *do* see where you're going though with the suggestion and I could well be wrong.

I hadn't really given that a thought as most of the ones I have had were dual mass. I hope I'm not wrong. :oops:

Hello, I have a 1990 205 GRD 235000 Miles, recently I have a severe vibration coming from the engine. It is there when ticking over and worse when you rev the engine. I've replaced N/S drives haft, all engine all mountings and crank pulley. Engine is running sweet as a nut no unusual noises and starts on the button. I've had this car since it was 6 months old and always serviced. Anyone had this problem?

If its there when ticking over it must be coming from the engine. I would say possibly a faulty injector causing it to be down on power on one cylinder. Try running it at a fast tickover and slacken the feed pipe nut on each injector in turn, if one makes little difference that will be the one. 17mm spanner I think.
