I'd not worry too much about that. If you ask the seller and they know you are a genuine buyer in a fellow EU country they often will ship. I would.

Outside the EU is a different matter.

Haha, that's mine, I swapped it out 2 weeks ago with a shiny new one:

It is indeed an AS3 but it is in need of a rebuild as stated on the listing, I noticed it leaking when I was changing the glow plugs, and I had a new one on the shelf anyway.

If it's of use I can assist with shipping but I expect it won't be cheap as they are very heavy

Random:

I've always found the earlier mechanical advance pumps equipped XUDT's to be a bit more lively, although this could be more down to other factors such as the newer ones (if you compare for instance 306's) the timing changes slightly for say the early ones compared to the mid to late ones, three changes from memory. Probably something to do with emissions I expect although it could be internal fuelling settings, but I still maintain out of all the 100's I've driven (example) the newer shape 306 is nowhere near as quick as the older shaped ones (excluding old shape P plates which appear to have EGR as standard) , hmm.

/end of random note.

Does anyone knows if the flywheel and crank of XUD9TE is paired up ? i need to change the flywheel to a 2.0HDI one... in order to use my gearbox or a HDI one...

I could be wrong but I think they should be a straight swap to be honest as the HDi crank (and more or less complete bottom end) is about the same as the XUD9T

The TDC sensor might not function however as I guess it could be a different sensor / pickup for each variant.

If you're using the electronic advance pump it may want that TDC signal however. I'm not 100% on this.

I would consider (if possible) an early XUDT pump from a (first shape) 306 or late 405, these are mechanical advance and no immobilizer. I know its possible as I've seen one popped onto a 406 (from a 306TD) and the result was about the same minus any need for the pump ECU at all to control the timing. Only downside with this was it was necessary to fit the waxstat cable assembly as the electronic XUDT's do not always have this, they rely on the pump timing adjustment to keep a stable idle when cold.

I got a completely mechanic pump. REF: 0 460 494 342

My issue atm is the flywheel, and figured out that i need to make a custom engine mount the lower one and the one from the timing belt.

But the mounts are easy to change... my biggest issue is the flywheel... i don't know if crank and flywheel are balanced together or not.

During assembly I'd suggest yes they are.

However if you think about it, some newer HDi's with the dual mass (sic) flywheels that people change for solid, these are not really balanced upon fitment as that's not possible...

You could say the same for any engine (say an XUDT) that had to have a new flywheel for some reason.

Ok so HDI flywheel it is.

Anyway there are 3 kinds of turbos to these engines.

KKK and 2 garret.
i don't like the KKK ones.

So:
Garrett T2 and T15.

Witch one is the best ?
Or the differences between them ?
