removing an injector

removing an injector
I had my car on a diagnostic laptop the other day and apparently injector number 3 is always open and needs replacing on my 306 1.6HDI. I went to try get it out last night, moved the wiring back so I could access the hex nuts, got the nuts off the studs that hold the injector on, removed the electrical clip and the fuel input nipple on top of the injector and of course the hard metal fuel line on the side of the injector ....the thing will not pull out.... any ideas?
Re: removing an injector
i have not as yet had to use one of these
https://www.google.co.uk/#q=peugeot+hdi ... l&tbm=shop" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
but i understand the HDI injectors can become stuck fast, then it is best to use one of the tools in the link above

Re: removing an injector
Slightly confused by the OPs post as it says 306 1.6 HDi - which never existed.... so it's either a 306 2.0 HDi or a 307 1.6 HDi.... 2.0 HDi the injector should come out by wiggling. If it's a 1.6 HDi, then it will be a lot more trouble. Those kits you posted Malc, are 2.0 / 2.2 only so probably no good for the 1.6. Might need to get a mobile service to come and pull it out with a hydrualic puller (which will probably wreck the injector).
