Hi.I have peugeot 206 1.9d and I have opened the engine DW8.but is something that I don't understand,the part (adjustment shims) in the manual service is of thickness E = 2,425 mm . but in my engine this part is bigger of thickness E =3 mm. Is this a problem? so I have to change it or not? thank you very much please help me.

What are you trying to do? adjust the valve clearances? Why ? normally they only need altering if the head has been overhauled and the valves re-seated.
There must be 40 or more different sized shims available from Peugeot ??,you just fit the one that brings the valve clearances to 0.15mm for inlet valves and 0.30mm for exhaust valves (+/-0.05 for all ). If the clearances are within these tolerances leave it alone.
