partner 2003 dw8 bsi removal ????? do i need to be bendy?

ok i have checked for voltage at green cable comming from f7 in the bsi unit and have no voltage at all so i have now come to the conclusion that its gota come out i have voltage at f7 so fuse feed is good but on looking as far as i can tell the diag socket has to be removed to get the bsi to come forward enough..... if this is the case how on earth do u get it back in? are the joy of a french motor lol any help appreciated winter is approaching and i gota get this done befor i can start on the rear swing arm bearings hmmmmm any help arreciated :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Start unplugging the connectors at the front, every time you unplug a row of connectors it lets the BSI move forward a little bit more until it comes all the way out. You don't need to move the diagnostic socket at all. Same again when re fitting, plug the back row in & push it back in a bit at a time.
