Images of Peugeot 504 interior please

Hello everyone,

I bought a Peugeot 504 GL a few months back and have been sorting out issues one by one (the car had been parked for several years and badly maintained before that). I have the engine running smooth and the wheels serviced and smooth. I am now planning on restoring the interior. One big problem I have is that my car doesn't have a console. I'm not sure if it came without one or if the existing console has been removed. While I have found pictures of 504 consoles online, most of them show the view closer to the dash. If anyone has a picture taken from the rear seat that shows the part of the console that goes behind the handbrake, I would really appreciate it. I plan on using the images to construct a replacement console that matches the original as closely as possible.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been ill. I have seen the pictures in the second link you sent. It's the rear part of the console I have been unable to find pictures of. The part that extends between the front seats and is visible/accessible from the rear seats. I'm also wondering where the stock location of the front speakers on the 504 was? The picture in your second link is very clear, and there are no speakers/grilles in the door or near the panel near the driver's foot.

if the speakers are like the early BX, it used to have a bass box up under the dash with a double coned base speaker, and two tweeters on the top face of the dash in the corners
