Hope someone can help, the heater fan on my sons car runs at fool speed when you start the car, on my Xantia there is a Module with 2 transisters which I have replaced a couple of times but the Peugeot is different can some one help please.

Can't help a lot as mine hasn't gone wrong - yet. According to the book it has a separate 'control module' although separate connections are not shown as if its part of the motor assembly. Does it have climate control, is it an LX or GLX?

The car has Climate Control and is a GLS I am sure there will be a Module some place and someone will tell me

have you got the fan/motor out yet, as it might be similar to the 307, this has an electronic speed controller attached in the same place as the XANTS with the large transistors,

if you send me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. i will look on pug service box

We have the fan motor out and it is entirely different to the Xantia, this is the last 8 numbers of the vin no 81657641, hope you can help

I had this on my 307. It turned out to be the relays under the bonnet slam panel.

Took them out and cleaned them and all was well. There was obviously an issue where a current was getting through to activate it but not to switch it off again.

it looks like i fits into the bottom of the evaporator housing just behind the center consul

the bonnet slam panel is the bit the bonnet shuts/locks onto
