My wipers awhile back were going abit funny. But today there clicking on auto 1. If you click down it will stick were you want the wipers on the screen. But on auto they will click and move abit.
I can hear the relay but wandering is it the relay or motor or stalk?
The relay inside the car on the fuse box?

So far I've tried the relay, cleaned connections on the motor wiring.
It works fine on speed setting 2 and 3. But the auto 1 goes mad and 0 just moves it were you want it to go to.

I think the other relay for them is above the fusebox at the back if I remember correctly, you have to pull the box down to get near it.
I'd go with the stalk though or the rain sensor (if equipped) as the likely cause.

Re: Wipers going funny
Inside the motor how many copper fingers are there ment to be 3 or 4?
I can see 3 but looks like one missing or a spare bit. But a 3rd one corroded away half left.
I got the motor working for abit and it moved in the right places. But there blown fuses so looks like a new motor will solve the problem now for sure.
