Post by Peter.N. »

This is not my car, I'm pleased to say but a friends. All the while the ignition is on the o/s indicators are flashing, it will flash the n/s if asked but when you return the stalk to the off position the o/s ones flash again. Help :?

As in turn off and it briefly flashes the other side ? the same way some people say "thanks" for letting them in ?

Usually points to the indicator contacts themselves over moving, or the Com2K unit on later models. Non plexed ones can do this although that's quite rare more usually with those you get a buzzing sound as the copper contacts have fallen a bit (rare but not impossible)

If its plexed, I'd be tempted to give it a BSi reset as there's no cost apart from a bit of time, although it does sound like a failing C2K to me to be honest.

That's what I was afraid of. Its flashing permanently on the o/s but normally on the n/s. Looks as though I will have to try and get Planet bit of the Lexia going.

Thanks, Peter
