autolock feature in BSI, pug 206 2004 1.4 HDI

Post by avamotor »

Hello Everyone!

Running through the BSI features the other night, i found under locking a feature to enable autolocks!

Selected enable and disconnected the diagnostics and took the car for a run but the central locking would not lock!!! What piece of "kit" is missing from my motor to enable this to work?

Car is multiplexed and its ...hang on either 5 or 6 wires to the central locking motors.

Hope someone can advise

I could be wrong but I think the autolock is just for the boot / hatch. It locks when above something like 4 or 5 mph. As its just a button / solenoid release.

I do know what you mean but I do not recall ever seeing one lock itself once you started moving...

I know the mouldyplexed Berlingos/Partners do the full autolock if you set them up thus, surely a 206 would also?

From memory the technique involved holding down the lock button (from an unlocked state) for a few seconds.
