enabling cd changer port via software help required

Hi I have fitted a changer to my C8's RD3 radio and now need to enable the changer and the multi function display in the software. Can anyone provide me a basic dummies guide on how to do this, where to find the options and what I need to enable. Thanks!

I have someone who can do it for me and has the kit, but doesn't know where to find the right options...Alternatively if there is anyone who has the pp or Lexia setup local to Nottingham and is willing to do it for the price of a pint or two let me know
