307SW HDI what to look for

Hi I'm thinking of buying a 307SW HDI and was wandering what faults to look for in a viewing?
Any help appreciated

take a LEXIA/PLANNET along and plug it in to read any faults on going faults its suffering from,

if its the 110hp it will have a DMF and anti pollution filter

Not sure when the SW first appeared, try to avoid a very early one though if possible.

The 307 is one of those models that got a bad reputation and its stuck.I`ve had them with broken rear coil springs,rear hub bearings failing,clutch bearings seizing,heater blower rheostats overheating and burning the loom,many electrical "Quirks" + the dreaded "anti-pollution fault". Then you find them with over 100k on the clock without having anything go wrong,they are not all bad.The early 8v HDi engine is bullet proof.
