Wiring diagram request

Post by spider »

To save me registering with service box etc (as I usually have enough tech data to help here) can anyone furnish me with a wiring diagram for an 02/03 plate 106D please ? , specifically the ECU wiring as these later models have a relatively large ECU atop the battery...

Thanks. :D
Andy.

Surprised no one had one to hand. :o

Not to worry have ordered a set of them now. :) , assuming they arrive given the post has gone downhill while the relief postpeople are doing it...

Did not work. Hmm.

The ones on Servicebox that I could see were just the exploded diagrams, I already have those. :(

It seems I have to pay to have access to the actual wiring diagrams, which seems excessive to me as I probably will not want them again. Hmm..

The paid for ones, as far as I can tell they do not show the diagram I want. The only things listed for the TUD5B unit is the exploded parts diagram I have, it seems they omitted it. I think its the right sections as I can see diagrams / schematics for things like the instrument panel / airbags etc etc

If someone can confirm if I'm looking in the right place or not would be good. :) , If not I will have to make further enquires* at a later date.

*Read that as asking favours from ex colleagues. ;)

Andy, I've finally  replied to your PM :)

Information on the ECU and pump for the TUD5B is almost non-existent on the Internet. I've sopent over an hour trying to find out some stuff and what I did find was minimal

How many TUD5Bs were there? They're either ultra reliable or very rare...

Still, it's an interesting one. Got my appetite whetted now to learn more of this rather exotic pump it has...

Thanks Jim. There was no rush as I said, I was not bumping it more adding more information as it was discovered. :)

As far as I can tell, 2001 possibly 2002 onwards only as the emission class is different compared to earlier ones too, looking at the road tax rates as well shows a slight reduction in prices for the newer ones.

Information does seem to be a bit like hens teeth it seems though.

We're still looking into it, although as above information does seem really lacking about these later 5B units...

There's been some progress but not as much as I'd of expected somehow, You'd think it would be easy to find said information but no. Hmm. :)
