hi everyone, I've been checking up on this forum quite recently and finally decided to register. I used to drive a peugeot 306 1.8 GLX, which my dad now owns, and I recently bought a second hand 406 coupe 2.0, so any tips, info for them will be handy, although I have virtually no mechanical/electrical knowledge.

Welcome aboard; always good to see the upcoming generation showing an interest in motor cars.
I have a son who did the same & found it was his forte' & these days as a business/hobby he sets up engine management systems on performance & race cars; a very profitable sideline that will ensure he'll never be out of a job, so you never know where it can lead.
Better get yourself dialled in to what makes 'em tick by checking out this site for starters.
