hi all i know this might be a bit cheeky because i have not not been on here for a long time and dont own a pug, my car is a citroen but i am trying to help a friend who has problems with his 407 , brake lights won't switch off and many faults coming up on the main screen ,he's been told could be water in the fusebox in the boot of the car ! just cant find the box anyway just wondered if anybody knows if there is a fuse box in the boot ? hope its not bsi failure [-o< thanks very much kris. :)

Obvious question, but have you checked the switch on the pedal?
The pedal has to press the switch in to turn off the lights.
If the pedal isn't pressing the switch properly, the lights are on all the time.
On my 607 the pedal return switch was too weak (it's a design fault on early 607s) and I had to add some extra springs to pull the pedal up when it's not being pressed.

hi thanks for advice but thats i thought of first fitted new switch geniune pug from dealer and an upgraded section of loom but no change think the best is to get it scanned with pug planet

Not all 407`s have the boot fuse box , there is a problem with bad earths on this model , for a fix guide check here ,

hi all just to let you all know my friends pug is back to normal after taking it to pug dealer new boot fuse box fitted at cost of nearly 400 pounds but at least its fixed thanks for all your help cheers kris :-D
