Post by rongee68 »

one of my pulleys for the fan belt has broken up, at first we thought it was the crank shaft pulley however when we looked it was fine. i found a piece of outter metal this is how the noise started. the fan belt has stayed on and the car is running good but we have no idea where this strip of metal is from? any ideas guys?

and tell us what model, engine, etc, etc??? I bet its an HDi and the bit of metal is part of the damper spring inside the crankshaft pulley.
