lp fuel pump

will 406hdi still run when started if low presure fuel pump is broken as car only starts with a bump start engie turns over but wont fire up without a bump start pleassssssssssse heeeeelp

The HP pump is not a lift pump as such, and relies on the LP pump to supply it with diesel. If that's not working, I think it very unlikely that the engine will run. Is the management light on ? Does it run as normal after starting ?

it runs fine when it has been bump started have just gave it full service all filters and still will not fire up without a bump help

could it be the injectors and if so would it be 1 ar could the all go please help at witts end
