307 - Water in footwell

Post by sooty »

From the last few days of continous rain.

The L/H front footwell has a pool of water under the Rubber mat.

Its not coolant water as the header tank is still at the same level as always.

As far as I can see, the left hand heater vent under the windscreen is not blocked with debris looking through the mesh. Looking at the R/H side the drains down side of inner wing and L/H drains but behind battery ? oe could it the door seal.

The car mostly parks facing down hill if this is any help

Any clues ???

if it has a sunroof check the drains by inserting a thin rod/wire, i used a bike gear cable down the drain from the top corners of the sunroof
